"Rex, my dog is eleven
and a half years old and gets about four tablespoons
a day of the Omega Pet Oil and still has the coat
of a puppy! He comes on a lot of alpine climbing
trips but had one that really stands out. We were
bushwhacking up Noel Mountain (in the Hurly Pass)
and Rex decided that he'd had enough and sat down
in the creek we were following up to the summit
ridge. To make a long story short,
we ended up having to leave him there as there were grizzlies
in the area and a decent that late in the day would have
been extremely dangerous.

We continued on our trip, twenty
plus kilometers of alpine ridge all over 7,500 elevation
with a good portion being knife-edge ridge. When I finally
got back to find Rex it was four days later and after
giving him a little food he wanted to continue up the
way we had gone!! If he was not so healthy to begin with
I don't think he would have made it. After a few days
he was all recovered and back at it!"
