Naturopath, By Definition

A Naturopath is a health practitioner who without the use of drugs or surgery, uses natural substances in order to help enable the body to heal itself. These substances include food, herbs, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, homeopathic preparations, glandular extracts, amino acids, antioxidants, etc. Stress reduction, exercise and other lifestyle changes may also be employed. Naturopathic principles are being used to help the body heal itself from the most disease states including high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, chronic fatigue, colitis, Candidiasis, cancer, allergies, diabetes, chronic infections, attention deficit disorder, chemical and environmental sensitivities, and others too numerous to list. Your body is always its own best healer.
