Essential Balance® products provide an
equal 1:1 balance of Omega-3 and Omega-6 EFAs with a blend
of cold-pressed Flax, Pumpkin, Hi-Oleic Sunflower Oil and
Lignans. Essential Balance Jr™ contains the same blend
as our original Essential Balance® formula in a 2:1 ratio,
with the addition of a proprietary blend of herbs and spices
creating a natural butterscotch flavoring.
The human brain has a 1:1 ratio
of Omega-6 to Omega-3 EFAs. Most people are deficient in Omega-3
since the average North American diet is much higher in Omega-6.
The 1:1 ratio of Essential Balance® helps to raise Omega-3
levels while you continue to receive Omega-6 from outside
food sources, which maintains a healthy balance. The optimal
ratio of 1:1 Omega-6 to Omega-3 has shifted dangerously high
to approximately a 20:1 ratio.
