The trip to India has made it more clear then ever that
the 5000 year old plus Indian traditions and way of life have
a lot to offer us health wise in North America. The Indian
traditions have successfully been using natural remedies for
thousands of years, and have developed effective formulas
and products in a holistic fashion.
One of Omega’s most memorable experiences and an
eye opener was a visits to a local organic farm. ‘This
Indian farm not only grows produce sustainibly in the
shade of wild jungle with elephants and tigers, but also
hires refugees from Bangladesh, giving them shelter, safety
and new life! It is amazing. I have never seen such a
holistic project including organic biodynamic farming
in harmony with wild animals and helping refugees in such
a sustainable fashion ‘ exclaimed Bob Walberg.
Omega’s travel to India was part of the company’s
continuing mission to help 3rd world countries with
local economies. The focus lies mainly in facilitating
and supporting exports with organic farmers, ensuring
the trade dollars end up directly in the communities
and farms which grow the products. Omega has particularly
been on outlook for new lines of special products including
soaps and special greens formulas for weight loss.
Helping 3rd world
economies, such as India, is a win-win situation for
both parties. While direct export will financially
benefit local farmers, bringing effective time tested
products will undoubtedly benefit the Western World – and
all us health focused individuals in North America.
